This has been a worth while experience from me - I have provided support to the "no new bridge campaign" and am now looking to contribute more here. The RTA is an old fashioned 'jobs for the boys' public works department with no heart or soul. You need an even higher profile....have you tried sponsoring the traffic reports on TV or radio stations? How about a banner on all the fences along the construction zones.....how about Nathan Reese's office???
So Anonymous, what do you base your anonymous comments on, facts? No, not even the RTA would say such a thing.
The 'better' alternative was tested and independently checked. Do you think the most respected engineer in Australia would put his name to something that would collapse?
An alternative that doesn't destroy the environment, parks, sailing courses, rowing courses, overshadows local public pools etc etc and is cheaper is obviously better.

Save sydney from itself.
Save for a proper railway system that link Ryde/Epping, Gladesville, Drummoyne,Rozelle and theinner city together.

The alternative would have caused huge traffic delays for 12 months, and you all would have bitched and moaned about it!!!!
